Channel crossings

Eurostar	Passenger train. The Ski Train takes you to within 10 miles of Courchevel. Early booking recommended.
Eurotunnel	35 minute Shuttle crossing through the Channel Tunnel with your car. Trains run frequently, but booking is essential.
SpeedFerries	Fastest ferry crossing between Britain and France—just 50 minutes

Travel by road

AA	An excellent travel planning service from the AA—plan your journey, download route maps.
Formule 1	Budget priced motels (approx. £15 a room). Somewhere to stop overnight if you wish to break up your journey.

Equipment

Sport Gliss	We recommend Sport Gliss to all our clients, to hire your ski and snowboard equipment. They give 10% discount to our guests! (Nearest to Ariondaz apartment).
Warreners	UK based independent chain of shops for all your ski equipment and sport wear.
Freeride	Ski Hire shop close to Le Marquis apartment. Very friendly and helpful British staff. They share the same building with New Generation Ski School.

Ecole du Ski Francais	Organise your ski lessons and also daily child care with ESF.
Magic Snowsport Academy	English ski school company.
New Generation Ski School	English company based in 1650 and 1850, ideal for our resort (we have used them ourselves). Very close to Marquis apartment, they share the building with Freeride Ski Hire.
Supreme Ski School	English company based in 1850.

Regional attractions

Chamonix (Mont Blanc)	Exciting things to do including The Sea of Ice, Aiguille du Midi cablecar and lots more! Ideal outside of the skiing season!
Annecy	Loads of stuff to do at Annecy in the Summer, including boat trips and sightseeing. Details of events and activites. Absolutely lovely town, ‘must do’!
Annecy boat trips	Boat trips with meals, on Lake Annecy.
Pralognan	Pralognan is one of the main entrances to the Vanoise National Park, only 30 minutes’ drive away. Loads to do, from trekking to horse riding, and swimming!
